Balnafettach Farm
A family-run farm situated just outside Cromdale within the Cairngorms National Park, the Cassells farm one of Scotlands oldest native breeds, pure Highland Cattle, and a small flock of sheep - a mixture of pure Jacobs and Texel X. They also have free-roaming chickens, and occasionally rear rare breed pigs from weaners, which they turn into bacon themselves using traditional methods. Working recently with an on-farm butcher, they offer seasonal wild game, shot on the farm and locally, as well as mutton. New House Farm Shop
New House Farm Shop and Tea Room is located in a 16th Century Sussex barn which has been renovated to the highest possible standard. The shop sells locally sourced products including fresh fruit and veg, fresh bread, meat, wine, cider and ale, cheese/deli, store cupboard essentials, ready meals, ice cream and local crafts. In the tea room you can choose from locally baked cakes and cupcakes, sandwiches, breakfasts and Ploughman’s and of course a range of teas coffees, chocolate and soft drinks. In June and July you can pick our famous strawberries and raspberries.

Alder Carr Farm
In our farm shop we are passionate about selling fresh, local and seasonal produce. We grow asparagus and fuit on the farm, everything else we try to buy as locally as possible to support other local producers when its in season. We stock a wide range of fairtrade and organic products, including kitchen & bathroom essentials. And we also make our own ice-cream on the farm, which we produce under the name Alder tree. Made on site using simply fruit, cream and sugar it is (we believe) the best ice-cream there is!

Broom House Farm
Broom House is a windy spot at 750 feet, with fabulous views over the surrounding countryside, when the weather allows! The farm house is on the top of the hill, but the farmland itself rolls down the valley to the River Browney. Broom House is a livestock farm - although some arable crops such as oats and barley are grown, as well as forage crops like turnips and kale - with the aim of producing as much of our own feed for the animals as possible.
