Nightingale Farm Shop

Gibbet Oak Farm began by supplying the markets. Early in the morning, Dad would drive our produce to Borough Market (a far cry from what it is today). Some 20 years ago, we added a humble honesty box stall on the farm, where you could buy boxes of our fruit. It quickly built up a loyal local following, and grew into a fully-fledged farm shop. Now we supply our customers and many local businesses with home-grown seasonal fruit, including our famed asparagus, cherries, strawberries and raspberries, as well as apples and pears, and our award-winning juices.

Plus free range eggs from our very own chickens, home baked treats including cakes, scones and cheesecakes from the BarnYard’s kitchen and the best in home grown groceries from our pear, cherry and award winning apple orchards, which are well placed alongside our finest quality fruit and vegetables.

We opened our newest shop in Tenterden in January 2018. Not just a farm shop, we have a deli counter and a bustling cafe serving tea and toast, freshly made juices, coffee, cake and hot chocolate, salads and sandwiches, platters, porridge and lots more. With daily deliveries from the farm of our Award winning apple juices as well as fruits, vegetables, salads and leaves, the shop is fully stocked, fresh bread and cakes are delivered daily and a whole range of products from local producers.
