Located near to Tunbridge Wells in the High Weald, Pippins Farm is a well established supplier of high quality fruit. All produce is grown on site with over 50 varieties of apples, pears, plums, cherries, quinces and cobnuts available in season. In addition to modern commercial varieties such as Braeburn, Bramley, Cameo, Cox, Gala and Fuji, a traditional orchard of older varieties produces many apples not often found on supermarket shelves.

We are a family run, high quality food retailer. The Machin family has seen the site grow, from the original wooden hut with a table on the side of the road, to the fully fledged farm shop that opened in April 2004. The Balloon Tree takes its name from an ancient horse chestnut tree that stood at the Buttercrambe turning, down the road. Hill Farm
Hill Farm PYO has been established for over 40 years. The first crop grown in the early 1970's was sweet corn. Before this, the farm had been a traditional mixed arable and livestock farm, growing wheat ,barley and sugar beet, along with around 50 beef cattle. Paddy's parents, John and Jill, we're first generation farmers and moved to Hill Farm in 1962. It was their foresight that created the opportunity to market farm produce directly to the public, and even let them pick it themselves.
