At the Stansted Park Farm Shop we enjoy discovering farmers, fishermen and food producers who are passionate about the freshest, tastiest, finest produce and delivering it directly to you. We source beef from the salt marshes around Chichester harbour, venison from the Stansted Estate, lamb from the South Downs and Tamworth pork from the woods of West Dean. We also offer organic produce from the Goodwood estate. Our fish is sourced direct from the boat, including fantastic lobster and crab – which is available every Friday from the shop, or delivered. Our fruit and vegetables come from Chidham or is sourced from local farms where possible.

With public concern growing over not only where our food comes from but how it is produced and how many food miles it travels before it reaches our plates, Quarry Farm Shop offers you a wide range of meat reared either on our own family farm or sourced from a few carefully selected local family farms. The meat is additive free, from stock that is mainly grass fed and no hormones or unnecessary drugs of any description are used.

Gibbet Oak Farm began by supplying the markets. Early in the morning, Dad would drive our produce to Borough Market (a far cry from what it is today). Some 20 years ago, we added a humble honesty box stall on the farm, where you could buy boxes of our fruit. It quickly built up a loyal local following, and grew into a fully-fledged farm shop. Now we supply our customers and many local businesses with home-grown seasonal fruit, including our famed asparagus, cherries, strawberries and raspberries, as well as apples and pears, and our award-winning juices.

The Bankhead Farm Shop is popular with men according to the owner, Nancy Wishart. There’s no cafe, no gift shop and no supermarket crowds and no temptation for impulse buys, so, as Nancy points out, ‘you can’t overspend’. That’s because Bankhead, near the villages of Crombie and Cairneyhill in Fife, is very much a working farm, that just happens to have a shop, not a destination cafe or lifestyle shop selling candles, cushions and crafts. We have been growing for over 20 years and every day we harvest fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables to stock the shop – vegetables are very often still dripping! See the bakers and pastry chefs busily producing an array of products right in front of your eyes, although never too busy to answer any questions you may have!

Our Pick Your Own Farms provide the facility for you to pick fruit and vegetables which you then buy before eating or taking home. We do not allow eating of fruit as you walk around the farm. We provide punnets, baskets and bags into which you can put the produce you pick. This is then weighed at our tills and you pay based on the kilogram charge of the respective fruit or vegetable.
