The Spencer Family came to Spring Lane Farm in 1939. Herbert Spencer came from Wymeswold in Leicestershire and purchased Spring Lane Farm with his wife Edna. Their son, Cyril and his wife Dorothy developed the Business growing potatoes as well as milking cows and selling free range eggs at the farm gate.
We are a small family run farm and shop that grows and sells fresh fruit and vegetables. We have a passion for what we grow and sell, what we don't grow we source locally from other farms.
Our iconic farmshop takes full advantage of its location. Vegetables, fruit and herbs are picked each morning from the MARKET GARDEN and travel a few yards into the shop and to our chefs in our award-winning restaurants.
Taylors Farm Shop has been in the Webster family for over 100 years and is currently run by the third generation of the family – Roger, Bernie and two of their four children Andrew and Joe. The farm prides itself on being a traditional working farm producing cereals and beef to source our shop. We offer fresh beef and lamb straight from our farm, together with a wide range of wholesome quality produce sourced from local farmers throughout the North West of England.
Here at North Acomb Farm we rear and produce our own bestselling Aberdeen Angus beef, lamb and pork on the farm. We make our very own homemade cakes, meals, pies, pasties, biscuits, black pudding and scotch eggs, amongst lots of other things, in the farm shop kitchen. We even make all our own sausages (using our own seasoning recipe) dry-cured bacon and gammons.

We are a fruit farm selling a variety of seasonal fruit, Apple juice and honey all produced on our farm in Nether Heyford, Northamptonshire.
We have been growing strawberries at Church Farm, Sessay, since 1970, starting off with 2 acres, and gradually increasing to the present 12 acres. 1 acre of raspberries was planted in 1990, and this area has now increased to 3 acres. Alongside these fruits are also blackcurrants, redcurrants, gooseberries and plums.
