The Spencer Family came to Spring Lane Farm in 1939. Herbert Spencer came from Wymeswold in Leicestershire and purchased Spring Lane Farm with his wife Edna. Their son, Cyril and his wife Dorothy developed the Business growing potatoes as well as milking cows and selling free range eggs at the farm gate.

We make our very own homemade cakes, meals, pies, pasties, biscuits, black pudding and scotch eggs, amongst lots of other things, in the farm shop kitchen. We even make all our own sausages (using our own seasoning recipe) dry-cured bacon and gammons.

Alongside these fruits are also blackcurrants, redcurrants, gooseberries and plums.
