McKechnies Farm Shop is based at Caledonian Marts in Stirling. Renowned for the quality and freshness of our fruit and vegetables, we also stock a range of other locally sourced Scottish produce.
The Quick family have farmed in Thurloxton, on the foothills of the Quantocks, for most of the last century, growing wheat, barley and oilseeds, and running a flock of sheep. In 1973 the Pick Your Own was started with the help of neighbouring farmer John Case, with one acre of strawberries. Since then it has grown to meet increasing demand and we now produce a wide range of fruit and vegetables on 25 acres of rich, red, soil.
Poplars Farm is a family run farm and farm shop, farming 500 acres in the Warwickshire countryside, 2.5 miles from Nuneaton town centre.
Although a farm shop by name, our range of goods extends from local fresh produce through groceries to an ever-expanding range of animal feeds, bedding, and accessories. We can feed everything from your smallest of pets, right through to racehorses and agricultural animals.
Welcome to Lathcoats Farm, Galleywood, Essex, a third generation family fruit farm growing over 40 varieties of delicious English apple, and a wide variety of summer fruits for Pick Your Own.
We focus on fresh produce, so our range of fruit and vegetables is constantly changing. For example, we have British heritage tomatoes, raspberries, and strawberries during the summer, and Jerusalem artichokes, kale, and dirty carrots in winter. We aim to have seasonal foods in stock throughout the year. We also offer a variety of smoked fish as well as game, – from pheasant and guinea fowl, to venison, pigeon, and rabbit.
The main reason to visit Dalduff, apart from attending a wedding, is to buy well sourced beef, lamb and pork as well as our famous handmade pies. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find produce that tastes good every time; supermarkets continue to work with meat from the lower end of the scale, believing that consumers want their food cheap. Whilst this may be true for some, we believe that many people today are quite happy to pay for quality, and at the same time know they are getting value for money.
Enjoy a wonderful day out fruit picking in Shropshire where the whole family can get involved and have fun!
We’re proud of the meat we produce here at Cwmcerrig and are delighted to now be selling it direct to our customers in our shop. Our Texel lamb and Hereford beef are reared here at Cwmcerrig to high standards of animal welfare. Not only is this the kind thing to do, but the meat tastes better.
The first Bowtell arrived in East Tisted near Alton in Hampshire to take over Home Farm in 1910. Born in Chawton, Percy Bowtell set about creating a family farm with 12 cows, pigs and sheep and 60 acres of corn.
