Sourcing the right products for the shop is very important to us. On the rare occasion we run out of beef we buy from people who have bought a number of bulls from us over the years, thereby paying back a bit of their custom but also keeping the beef as close to our own homebred as possible.

We are a family run business established in 1973 as a Fruit Farm. The Farm Shop was opened in 2000 followed by the Coffee Shop in 2010. We are located in a small village called Wickham St Pauls, located just off the A131 between Halstead and Sudbury.

The Butts Farm Shop is situated within The Butts Farm. They farm rare and traditional breeds of cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and poultry. The Farm is open to the public from February to October and attracts some 10,000 visitors per year. With Judy's ability to produce fine stock they are confident that when you buy from The Butts Farm Shop you will find yourself eating some of the finest meat in the UK.
