Surrounded by National Trust Farmland and less than 50 yards from the coastal path, the whole concept of Boscastle Farm shop comes from a passion for great quality local produce and a love of the natural beauty of this area.
We opened our newest shop in Tenterden in January 2018. Not just a farm shop, we have a deli counter and a bustling cafe serving tea and toast, freshly made juices, coffee, cake and hot chocolate, salads and sandwiches, platters, porridge and lots more. With daily deliveries from the farm of our Award winning apple juices as well as fruits, vegetables, salads and leaves, the shop is fully stocked, fresh bread and cakes are delivered daily and a whole range of products from local producers.
We are primarily a free range egg farm, with a commercial flock of 24,000 free range laying hens and a small flock of sheep, along with goats, guinea pigs, ferrets and a rabbit! We also have a farm shop and butchery, selling local and home reared products. Our trademarks are an 11kw wind turbine, which can be seen from the A38, and our 200kw photovoltaic system, which helps to reduce our impact on the environment.
The Farm Shop at Garsons is officially Surrey's best, as voted by Surrey Life readers, and when you visit you'll soon see why. All our staff are keen foodies who love to try all our products and many have been working with us for a decade or more, so no-one knows our food and drink better. As a family of farmers we take a hands-on and traditional approach to everything we do to achieve the best quality possible. Our beef roasts and steaks are matured on the bone for a minimum of 21 days, our award-winning hams and bacon are dry-cured here by us, and our bread is freshly baked each morning. Whilst it’s impossible for us to compete with local supermarkets on price, there’s no contest when it comes to taste and provenance.
Our lovely British Toggenburg goats produce deliciously creamy milk which is ideal for cheese making. Sarah has been developing a range of cheeses as well as the bottled Whole milk and a lovely strained Greek style plain yoghurt.
The Bourne Valley Farm Shop provides fresh, seasonal and where possible locally grown fruit and vegetables along with jams, relish, chutneys and assorted pate and crackers to compliment the English cheese counter.

Having supplied quality fresh meat and other foodstuffs to hotels and caterers across central Scotland since 1965, we created a butcher's shop on our 3rd generation family farm that opened to the public early in 2014. Priding ourselves on freshness, quality and value, we're delighted that thousands of local people now enjoy buying their fresh meat from us on a regular basis.
One of the few farms in Argyll to raise and finish their own cattle, Barbreck is situated on rich, low-lying pasture at the head of Loch Craignish, around 20 miles south of Oban. Calves are suckled until 10 months old and fed home-produced silage when wintering in sheds, before being butchered on site. Barbreck's lambs are raised on their mother's milk and herb-rich hill pastures, and both meats are available from their website and in the farm shop, alongside seasonal pork from Mull and local venison.
