We are now proud to deliver produce from over 80 other local producers.

Hallwood Farm
All of our meat and approximately 90% of our vegetables for the veg boxes is grown here at Hallwood Farm. The emphasis is always on own, local and seasonal first but in order to provide a wider choice we buy produce from other local farms and food producers and everything else from further afield comes from our wholesaler in Cornwall.

We can only do this because we have the commitment of our customers to come and buy our freshly harvested vegetables every week.

Veg Out
Veg Out was formed by Debbie and Howard Smith in 1996, and we’ve been delivering our organic veg box to customers every week since then. Starting on a set of allotments we realised that a box scheme was a viable way of making a living, selling direct to customers locally all year round.

Kent Veg Box
As our veg is so fresh it tastes better. That is a fact. Anyone who has grown their own knows that you cannot beat that 'just picked' taste. But there is another reason; our farmers pick the varieties they grow for taste, not for shape, size, colour, etc. A supermarket tomato has to be round and red with no imperfections. That is because they sell to you with your eyes not your tongue. We have all had those tasteless insipid tomatoes that look good but taste of nothing. You won't get these with us.

Phantassie Organic Produce
Phantassie is based on the edge of East Linton in rural East Lothian, just 25 miles from Edinburgh. The original growing area, a one acre walled garden, is a sheltered patch which has been in use for over 150 years. Gradually we’ve also cultivated another 7 acres. Our large unheated polytunnels enable us to extend the growing seasons and provide a variety of vegetables all year round. We supplement our produce with veg from other local Organic Growers, as well as England and Europe with a cornucopia of Fruit, always as local as possible, never airfreighted and FAIRTRADE if applicable.

Communigrow
Communigrow is a registered food education charity based in East Malling, Maidstone, Kent. We are focused on reconnecting people to freshly grown food, the outdoor environment it comes from and the soil it grows in. We want to teach people from all walks of life – rich or poor, young or old – about how to grow their own food and reconnect with nature. Learning, teaching, caring and sharing are the core aspects of the Communigrow project. We care about ethical food production, land and nature conservation and personal and collective well-being.
