The farm house is on the top of the hill, but the farmland itself rolls down the valley to the River Browney. Broom House is a livestock farm - although some arable crops such as oats and barley are grown, as well as forage crops like turnips and kale - with the aim of producing as much of our own feed for the animals as possible.

When in season we stock locally grown produce including asparagus, potatoes, vegetables, Tiptree strawberries, raspberries and cherries. When we can’t source produce locally we purchase fruit, exotic fruit, salads and vegetables from Spitalfields Wholesale market in London, often arriving just after midnight to find the best produce.
