The Spencer Family came to Spring Lane Farm in 1939. Herbert Spencer came from Wymeswold in Leicestershire and purchased Spring Lane Farm with his wife Edna. Their son, Cyril and his wife Dorothy developed the Business growing potatoes as well as milking cows and selling free range eggs at the farm gate.

Opened in February 2014, Onley Grounds Farm Shop and Butchery specialise in Quality Meats and fine artisan foods. The shop is located on Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex in the heart of the countryside on our farm, just off the A45 between Dunchurch and Daventry.

After years of flogging berries from a table and a tent, we took the step to open our little farm shop in the summer of 2014. And it's 'wee' for a reason - we have no ambition to be the biggest farm shop around; we'd rather focus on trying to become the best.
