Jamie’s Fruit and Veg is located at White Elm Garden Centre, Bicknacre. We have over 25 years experience in the fruit and veg trade and have a real passion for quality and taste. When in season we stock locally grown produce including asparagus, potatoes, vegetables, Tiptree strawberries, raspberries and cherries. When we can’t source produce locally we purchase fruit, exotic fruit, salads and vegetables from Spitalfields Wholesale market in London, often arriving just after midnight to find the best produce.

In 1973 the Pick Your Own was started with the help of neighbouring farmer John Case, with one acre of strawberries. Since then it has grown to meet increasing demand and we now produce a wide range of fruit and vegetables on 25 acres of rich, red, soil.

The family have always been big cheese lovers and cheesemaking has always been in our family history. Having been looking for a new adventure cheesemaking was an obvious choice so The Devenick Dairy was born in 2006.
