Growing With Grace provides local communities with fresh, locally grown organic foods. Growing With Grace has been growing and supplying organic vegetables for over 10 years. We provide weekly Organic Veg Boxes & Grocery Deliveries to Lancaster and surrounding areas, South Cumbria, Skipton, the Yorkshire Dales, Ilkley and Otley. Also we sell directly from the farm shop at the nursery.

In 1997, Adrian Halstead, always a keen allotment gardener, took a leap of faith and bought the nursery in rural Barcombe, four miles west of Lewes and twelve miles north of Brighton. He began the conversion to organic status under the auspices of the Soil Association with the idea of starting a local vegetable box scheme.

The family have always been big cheese lovers and cheesemaking has always been in our family history. Sourcing the right products for the shop is very important to us. On the rare occasion we run out of beef we buy from people who have bought a number of bulls from us over the years, thereby paying back a bit of their custom but also keeping the beef as close to our own homebred as possible.
