At the Stansted Park Farm Shop we enjoy discovering farmers, fishermen and food producers who are passionate about the freshest, tastiest, finest produce and delivering it directly to you. We source beef from the salt marshes around Chichester harbour, venison from the Stansted Estate, lamb from the South Downs and Tamworth pork from the woods of West Dean. We also offer organic produce from the Goodwood estate. Our fish is sourced direct from the boat, including fantastic lobster and crab – which is available every Friday from the shop, or delivered. Our fruit and vegetables come from Chidham or is sourced from local farms where possible.

The highlight is our Dorset Longhorn beef, grown on our very own Longlands Farm in Littlebredy. Trevathan is a working farm and has been farmed by the Symons family since 1850. In recent times the farm buildings had become unsuitable for modern farming methods so they have been restored and converted into stone holiday cottages. We started in 1984 and now have 11 cottages at Trevathan.

They began their venture 20 years ago with a flock of free range turkeys and geese. The Brownriggs now also rear traditional ruby red cattle, have a flock of over 1000 sheep and free range hens that produce over 3000 eggs a day. These are all available to buy Islandwide.

The shop sells locally sourced products including fresh fruit and veg, fresh bread, meat, wine, cider and ale, cheese/deli, store cupboard essentials, ready meals, ice cream and local crafts. In the tea room you can choose from locally baked cakes and cupcakes, sandwiches, breakfasts and Ploughman’s and of course a range of teas coffees, chocolate and soft drinks. In June and July you can pick our famous strawberries and raspberries.
