The Allarburn Farm Shop has a strong committmnent to producing the very best local produce.
The independant family business sells food from its “farm gate to customers plate.” It continues
to thrive. High customer demand for local fresh produce led business to move into larger
premises in 2013.

We are primarily a free range egg farm, with a commercial flock of 24,000 free range laying hens and a small flock of sheep, along with goats, guinea pigs, ferrets and a rabbit! We also have a farm shop and butchery, selling local and home reared products. Our trademarks are an 11kw wind turbine, which can be seen from the A38, and our 200kw photovoltaic system, which helps to reduce our impact on the environment.

Bucksum produce is proudly served by several celebrity chefs as well as by local mums. A selection of seasonal produce is grown in Long Crendon on the Bucksum farm. We also work with other local growers to enhance the range of local produce available. In 2010 the Bucksum Farm Shop opened to the public.

With origins back to 1880 the land, along with 4 other fruit farms on the edge of the town, was initially planted with apples & Cob nuts under the instruction of Lord Sudeley. More than 130 years later Hayles Fruit Farm is the only one to survive!
