Bo’ness has had a central market square for many decades…and now has a regular monthly farmers’ and craft market on the first Thursday of each months. The market is supported by the local town centre management groups, as well as local business communities & civic groups.
Peterhead is now the busiest white fish port in Europe and the largest fishing port in the European Community. The town was one of the first farmers’ markets in Aberdeenshire and features a wide range of stalls including Cairn O Mohr Wines, The Hame Bakery, Ingrams Homecure and Veg in a Box.
This exciting array of fresh produce – from vegetables, fruits and juices to locally-reared meats and delicious artisan bakes and makes – is a wonderful start to the weekend. Stalls do sell out so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Known as “the friendly village market”, we run on the second Sunday of every month, all year round, at the village hall in Greenhead, from 10am to 2pm. Meet the producers of delicious local foods and local craftspeople, learn new recipes and find out what’s going on in the local area and even some of the local history, over cakes & fair-trade coffee/tea…
Kelso, situated on the Tweed, with Floors Castle and a famous racecourse, has much to offer the visitor. The farmers’ market brings together up to fifteen local producers offering the best of the Borders from lamb and beef to vegetables and dairy products. Paxton House, outstation of the National Galleries for Scotland is also close by.
Moseley Farmers’ Market happens on the last Saturday of the month in the centre of Moseley Village. We have over 60 stalls selling a huge range of produce to cater for everyone’s needs; whether it be fruit and vegetables, cheeses and wine, pies and beer, or come for lunch and try for example succulent pulled pork, pancakes, falafals and samosas. Everything available is guaranteed to be local and the produce is reared, grown or processed by the people selling: it’s a certified real Farmers’ Market.

Our popular Pendeen Farmers’ Market takes place at the Centre from 10am-1pm on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. It has become an established feature in the village with many regular shoppers from Pendeen and around the West Penwith area. Visitors love to pop in as well and we often see the same people returning year after year.
Whilst Cambridge’s market isn’t just a farmer’s market, it’s a BIG outdoor market all week long. On Monday to Saturday the general market sells pretty much EVERYTHING you could need or want. on Sunday’s you’ll find local food from farmers and an arts and crafts market with all sorts of produce. You cannot miss it when visiting Cambridge centre.
