Their cider is available from their farm shop which also offers locally-produced groceries; top-quality beef from their herd of Longhorn cattle and their own lamb.
Beech Hayes Farm is located in Churchinford, Somerset. Tucked away in the Blackdown Hills (an Area of Outstanding National Beauty) Nick and Ruth Strange run their mixed livestock farm to produce top quality traditional produce.
Each week we pack a selection of fresh, seasonal produce into three sizes of box. Potatoes and carrots appear virtually every week and onions most weeks. The remainder of the box is made up of various items depending on the time of year: for example, salad crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and peppers in summer, and greens and root crops in winter, such as cabbages, leeks, Brussels sprouts and swedes.
Roger and Penny Webber produce and offer organically-reared Gloucester Old Spot pigs, Aberdeen Angus beef (hung for a minimum of 3 weeks) and lamb from Swaledale ewes (crossed with Suffolk or Charolais rams). Like all the organic farms we know of, they have never had a case of BSE in their cattle. Sausages and bacon are excellent sidelines
