All our products are produced to the highest standards in our own bakery by experienced craft bakers. The majority of our breads are still handmade in the traditional way and we produce a wide variety of products including traditional and speciality breads, rolls and buns. As well as going to markets, we also supply a variety of local businesses via our delivery vans.

Owned and operated by Robert and Lea Darling alongside their dedicated family, daughter Sarah, their son Andrew and his wife, Nicola. Every product from Christmas pudding to sticky toffee pudding, flapjack to tea loaf is crafted with knowledge, love and care and this has been shown in their successes from local farmer’s markets to international sales orders.
Companio Bakery is an artisan bakery in Manchester producing sourdough breads, savoury danish and cakes. We sell from our bakery in Ancoats but also at Manchester Victoria train station from our bread bike trailer to commuters on their way home – perfect for supper or ideal for breakfast.
Our bread is handmade with patience, skill and the best ingredients, by our master bakers. At the heart of it all are our many favourite recipes, our like-minded suppliers, our dedicated team and most importantly soulful, delicious and healthy bread.
