We are a family-run business growing fresh, local vegetables on a 1 acre market garden just outside of Bishop's Castle. This is our first year growing, so we are starting small and only producing on 1/4 acre in order to get a handle on the timing of our crops and to experiment with what tastes and grows best.

The farm shop was started in 1965 and remains true to its roots as a proper farm shop. We love to champion amazing local producers alongside our homegrown heritage produce. We have bread from two local bakeries, Davies Bakery and Way Bakery, available daily; these pair beautifully with our huge selection of local and national cheeses. We set up in 1995, packing boxes on our kitchen floor with our eldest child, who was barely walking at that stage, taking out veg almost as quick as we put it in the boxes! Upper Lenshaw is based in Inverurie, but they deliver organic vegetables and free-range pork and beef anywhere within a 40-mile radius.
