Communigrow is a registered food education charity based in East Malling, Maidstone, Kent. We are focused on reconnecting people to freshly grown food, the outdoor environment it comes from and the soil it grows in. We want to teach people from all walks of life – rich or poor, young or old – about how to grow their own food and reconnect with nature. Learning, teaching, caring and sharing are the core aspects of the Communigrow project. We care about ethical food production, land and nature conservation and personal and collective well-being.
We grow vegetables on our farm and deliver the produce directly to homes across England. We are hugely different from farm shops and supermarkets - we harvest the produce for you and you get the freshest possible. You can also get full provenance meat from the butchery and a large range of farmhouse baking with no additives or fancy packaging. When you buy from us you're practically a farmer!
Ashurst Organics veg box scheme started in 1994 as a Community Supported venture organised by Common Cause Co-operative - a social enterprise based in Lewes, East Sussex.
We purchase our produce from local wholesale markets and farmers where possible, so we always try to have in mind the local economy... Anthony's really do like to champion the small business where possible (although a little bias, but why not we have after school clubs to pay for too).
The Growing the Veg Box project has been preparing veg, fruit and salad to hundreds of customers across Torfaen for almost 7 years. We’re part of the Garnsychan Partnership, a charity based in Garndiffaith, and operate as a social enterprise; all our profits are reinvested back into our community in the form of volunteer placements and training, art, cookery and gardening classes, and support for other community organisations.
We deliver fresh fruit & veg within a 30 mile radius of our Southill, Bedfordshire base, which includes Shefford, Hitchin, Letchworth, Baldock, Bedford, St Neots, Stevenage, Hatfield, Luton, Biggleswade and Henlow & surrounding areas. If you are unsure if we deliver into your town/village call the number or message us.
We're a not-for-profit organisation that prioritises local food, direct trade with farmers and community-scale food chains. Crop Drop is run by Haringey residents and only deliver our service in Haringey. We keep costs down for customers, give farmers a fair price and plough our profits back into supporting sustainable agriculture and urban growing.
An institution for food lovers, families, and students alike, this deli-cum-café boasts a variety of dishes that reflect a strong commitment to cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets.
Every week we run a chemical free vegetable box scheme with produce grown from our site in Margate with the addition of produce from local Organic Farmers.
We wanted to champion the best produce Scotland has to offer, sourcing local food where we can, or because it tastes great! A unique place to visit, shop for essentials and treats or enjoy something delicious to eat in comfortable surroundings.
