Twice a month, throughout the year, local farmers and businesses display and sell their produce. Fresh Meats, Organic vegetables, Eggs, Cheese, freshly baked Bread and cakes can be found. Other items such as Wine, Confectionery, Jams and Pickles and not forgetting our regular hot food stand with their outdoor bred roasted pork, bacon or sausage all locally sourced. Seasonal indoor and outdoor plants are available along with flowers for that special occasion. Also take a stroll around the weekly Craft market that runs alongside the farmers market. Unusual items and gifts can be found from the many local traders to found here weekly.
Super Saturdays are themed street market events which take place in Fraserburgh on the 2nd Saturday of each month from May to September and one in Dec.
On the first and third Saturdays of every month – Crediton Farmers’ Market is a lively, bustling community hub, linking the rural and urban environments and enabling each to better understand the other. Come along and wander among the wide choice of stalls and sample our produce before buying. With such a variety there is bound to be something for everyone. Meet up with your friends and have a natter in the seating area over breakfast, coffee or soup.
Elgin Farmers Market is held on the ‘plain-stones’ in the centre of Elgin. The market has a good selection of local vegetables and fruit, locally produced cheeses and Aberdeen Angus meat as well as bread and home-bakes. There are also local crafts and jewellery on show and in Spring and Autumn there is a continental market offering a taste of continental Europe.
The Queen’s Park Farmers Market was set up in 2003 to complement the already well established Mansfield Park Farmers Market. Located off the Victoria Road entrance, the picturesque setting provides a wonderful backdrop for this flourishing market. Choices are countless with a superb array of fresh produce from over 25 stallholders, and the onsite entertainment completes the market experience.
The market is held on the first Saturday of every month in the 400 year old market square in the centre of this ancient town. Starting with a few tentative trial markets in 2001, the market became a monthly fixture of the town in October 2002 and is still as popular as ever!
A wide selection of quality food producers come together between 10am and 2pm on the third Saturday of each month to form Anglesey Farmers Market. Held at Princes Pier, Menai Bridge, the stunning location has plenty of space for leisurely browsing with lots of space to sit outside and enjoy what you’ve bought!
