Bath Farmers’ Market (BFM) was the first Farmers’ Market in the UK and was established in September 1997 in response to Local Agenda 21 and the principles of sustainable development. B&NES played a key role in the partnership that set up the Bath Farmers’ Market. It became a Limited Company in June 1998 and is known as Bath Farmers’ Market Limited.

A delightful village setting makes Balerno Farmers’ Market a popular destination on the western outskirts of Edinburgh. Easily accessible by car or Bus No 44, the market has a variety of stalls on the main street offering a wide range of local produce. Local organisations often run events alongside the market. Combine your visit with a trip to the Pentland Hills for a great day out!

The Farmers Market can be found on the village green in the heart of Sedgefield in front of St. Edmund Church. With easy access from the main road network, A689, A177 etc we can be easily located so come along and try it.

Location: Worcester, Worcestershire
Members of the Nether Edge Neighbourhood Group host and organise this local
quarterly market. It is organised entirely by a small group of local residents and volunteers in Nether Edge, Sheffield. The market is hosted in the months of March, June, September and December each year with seasonal touches for each event (e.g. Santas Grotto at the December market).

Other items such as Wine, Confectionery, Jams and Pickles and not forgetting our regular hot food stand with their outdoor bred roasted pork, bacon or sausage all locally sourced. Seasonal indoor and outdoor plants are available along with flowers for that special occasion. Also take a stroll around the weekly Craft market that runs alongside the farmers market. Unusual items and gifts can be found from the many local traders to found here weekly.
