All our bakery products are hand moulded, breads and fresh cakes are baked in our own bakery on the premises. We produce traditional breads and rolls together with daily specialities. The delicatessen in the Courtyard at the Mains of Taymouth estate manages to fulfil the roles of a greengrocer, a gelateria and a deli without seeming crowded or unfocused. It's an airy, modern building with plenty of browsing space and, because of the range, it has become important to nearby holidaymakers and locals alike who come for basic essentials or luxurious treats, all with a strong local flavour. Most weekends have tastings conducted by some of the 25 Perthshire producers represented in the shop, from the Glen Lyon coffee served up and Inveralmond brews to the Rannock Smokery meats – which also go on their home-made pizzas. The thoughtful operation offers food starter packs for tourists, veg boxes for free 15-mile delivery and gift hampers that can be made up on the spot.
