Our delicatessen was established in 2002, and fifteen years later, we are still brimming with the most wonderful selection of fine foods from Spain, Italy, Portugal, along with produce from closer to home, too. Come see and taste the best cheese counter in Bristol! It’s abundant with a variety of cheeses from Gruyere to Gorgonzola, Roquefort to Rachel, Comte to Cornish Yarg, as well as a range of fabulous British cheeses selected by Jo, our manager and previously cheesemonger at the world-famous Neals Yard Dairy of London. She certainly knows her stuff and makes sure her deli team do, too!

The Spey Larder
It is the range of produce that impresses at the Spey Larder. As the name would suggest, it is the perfect place to stock up on all the deli larder basics, both continental and local - Connads cheese is a favourite, as is Ola rapeseed oil. A large selection of locally-caught fish, artisan cheeses and pâté is stocked, as well as fantastic bread. It has a good selection of local real ale and local wines, as well as wines from more far-flung destinations.

This is Aberdeen's version of the kind of all-round general food store that is as much influenced by farm shops and old fashioned provision merchants as it is by specialist continental delis. Owner Susan Watson has ensured that the bedrock of the shop is in local and organic fruit and veg, alongside meats and bakery. Then there are the extras which not only extend the range but also emphasise the values of the place: wine and real ale, cook books, ceramics and art on the walls.

Emmett's of Peasenhall
Emmett’s is the oldest artisan ham and bacon producer in the UK. Established in 1820, family owned and still operating from the same premises in the same Suffolk village we make ham not sham! Our differing flavours of ham are made solely from the rear leg of the pig using natural not synthetic ingredients whilst our bacon is dry cured with natural salt not artificial nitrates.All the pork we use is from Suffolk with the vast majority from Blythburgh Free Range. Our signature product Suffolk Black Ham is widely acclaimed and has a very loyal following. We held a Royal Warrant for over 36 years, is mentioned by Delia in her books, Rick Stein Food Heroes and Ade Edmonson to name a few! The period of marination, in Nethergate Suffolk porter beer gives the product immense depth and flavour and some coarseness like no other. It is then hot smoked in our original brick smokehouses. It is with these Great British credentials that we are now exporting our products to Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines.
