The Store Company
A prominent and active local farm shop for the last decade, The Store is located on the Booth family farm where grass-fed lamb and Aberdeen Angus beef are reared in small numbers. The well-stocked meat counter includes sausages and freshly made shepherd's pie, curry and lasagne, and various cuts and joints for the Sunday roast - all prepared in the on-site butchery and kitchen. We have been growing organic vegetables near Aberdeen since 1980. First we were working for the Camphill Rudolf Steiner Schools in Milltimber near Aberdeen and after a short spell back in Holland we set ourselves up in Maryculter as an independent business growing organic vegetables for supermarkets. Over the years we switched to supplying local markets, notably all the Camphill communities around Aberdeen as well as to organic box schemes in the area, and we also operate a box scheme ourselves.
