First started in 1962 Swinburn's Farm Shop has been part of the local community for generations. 'John in the Shop' as he is known to many has been there for over 30 years, serving customers with knowledge on various equine and small animal feeds, and also bringing fresh fruit and veg to the regulars. Taking on 2 expansions in its time the Farm Shop has seen many changes in customer shopping habits however have stuck to its principles of good quality at a reasonable price.

We are a family-run business growing fresh, local vegetables on a 1 acre market garden just outside of Bishop's Castle. Established in 2020, Diddly Squat Farm Shop was the brainchild of Jeremy Clarkson after realising that potatoes did indeed grow well on his farm and he had accidentally produced 40 tonnes of them. From there, with his partner Lisa, he bought hives and began to produce and sell bee juice, along with apple juice and cow juice from a local dairy.

We have been growing organic vegetables near Aberdeen since 1980. First we were working for the Camphill Rudolf Steiner Schools in Milltimber near Aberdeen and after a short spell back in Holland we set ourselves up in Maryculter as an independent business growing organic vegetables for supermarkets. Over the years we switched to supplying local markets, notably all the Camphill communities around Aberdeen as well as to organic box schemes in the area, and we also operate a box scheme ourselves.
