Haddington Farmers' Market

This is one of the most atmospheric markets in Scotland. Cooking demonstrations, free tastings and live music all add to the enjoyment of this busy market with up to twenty five stall-holders. Produce comes from artisan farms that concentrate on quality, tradition and flavour, such as Jock’s Tattie Shed, Ballencrieff Pedigree Pigs, Monarch Deer Farm and Scots Cheer Fruit Liqueurs. Just half an hour’s drive from Edinburgh and a trip to the market would be an added treat to a day out in East Lothian.

Chislehurst Farmers Market was started in June 2011 at the request of the Chislehurst Town Centre Management Group. The Farmers Market moved to its new location of Hornbrook House Car Park, High Street, Chislehurst BR7 5AB just opposite Chislehurst Common in October 2012. The new location provides a much larger space for the farmers market which has now grown in size. The Farmers Market offers a wide variety of local produce,with over 20 stalls regularly attending.

Brigg Farmers’ Market

The Year 2000 heralded the start of a monthly Farmers Market in Brigg, since when it has gone from strength to strength. Held on the fourth Saturday in each month, and located in the Town Centre, this is the opportunity to purchase locally grown produce direct from the supplier, such as vegetables, meat, poultry (including ostrich), eggs, cheese, ice cream, and preserves, to name but a few.

Dumfries Farmers' Market

This very successful market has between 20 and 30 food stalls. There is a good variety of local food available at the easily accessed venue with plenty of free parking, just off the Dumfries bypass. Produce available includes locally produced meats, fish, cheeses, breads, baking, desserts, ice creams and sorbets, jams and preserves, chocolates, fruit and vegetables, fudge, cider, beer and wine.

Baildon Farmers Market take place on the fourth Saturday of each month from 9am until 1pm. You’ll usually find fresh bread, organic vegetables, locally shot game, soups and sauces, pickles and preserves, artisan cheese, fish from Fleetwood, cakes and pastries, yoghurt and cream. Marylebone Farmers' Market
